Cheers to New Beginnings: Introducing The Wine Country Wine Coach! 

The moment has arrived, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to unveil my new website and online wine education business: The Wine Country Wine Coach! This marks the beginning of an exciting chapter, not just for me, but for novice wine enthusiasts everywhere who are eager to deepen their knowledge and love for wine and wine tasting, or the seasoned wine drinker interested in learning the tricks of the trade to be more mindful in their wine tasting practice. My mission is to "Bring Joy to People Through Wine!" My message? Wine does not need to be complicated or intimidating!

A Passion for Wine Education

My journey into the world of wine has been anything but ordinary. It started as a personal hobby, grew into a professional career, and is now evolving into a platform dedicated to helping others learn about and enjoy wine.

As a self-taught, award-winning home winemaker turned professional winemaker for one of the largest wine companies in the U.S., I’ve learned that wine isn’t just a beverage—it’s an experience that brings people together and enhances lives.

When I first began exploring wine, I wasn’t interested in the sophistication that often surrounds it. I visited wineries, asked countless questions, and learned what I could from the tasting staff and listening to other visitors at the wineries.

When possible, I’d talk to the winemakers and collect whatever nuggets of knowledge and wisdom they would share. But what struck me the most was how unapproachable, technical, and exclusive the wine world could feel. I felt uncomfortable, out of place, and like I didn’t belong. 

Now after enjoying my career as a successful winemaker, my mission is to "Bring Joy to People Through Wine"!  My message? "Wine doesn't need to be complicated or intimidating!" I wante to break down the barriers and create a learning experience where everyone feels not only welcome but a part of a community—no fancy degrees or elite circles required. 

My offerings are a culmination of years of learning, experimenting, and experience in the multifaceted art and science of tasting and making wine. It’s a space where I can share my expertise with those who share a curiosity and enthusiasm for wine, the old world way!                                   

Making Wine Fun, Accessible, and Relatable

The Wine Country Wine Coach is designed with the beginner wine enthusiast in mind.I’ve just released my first online wine tasting course: Wine Tasting 101 - The Beginner’s Guide to Wine Tasting Mastery. My goal is to make wine education approachable and enjoyable. Here’s a glimpse of what I'm offering:

• Courses and Resources: From understanding the basics of wine tasting to exploring the intricacies of winemaking, my content is, and will be, crafted to demystify the world of wine. My flagship course teaches you how to taste wine like a pro using simple, bite-sized lessons that are easy to understand and apply.
